Ukrainian Patriot

Ukrainian Patriot was born in the fires of the full-scale invasion, officially established on February 28, 2022. The organization was founded by Lana Niland, a Saskatchewan native who moved to Kyiv over 20 years ago to pursue professional Ukrainian dance. When the war began, Lana stayed in her adopted home, trading the stage for the frontlines. What started as a small group of volunteers has blossomed into a sophisticated international NGO, supported by a Canadian Board of Directors (including co-founders from Saskatoon), a dedicated Saskatchewan fundraising entity, and boards in both the United States and Ukraine.

An International Ground Crew
Ukrainian Patriot is powered by an extensive network of volunteers and professionals across three continents. This "Ground Crew" operates as a multinational movement, coordinating logistics between Canada, the U.S., and the many regions of Ukraine they serve.

The organization is structured around Five Pillars of Support: Humanitarian Aid, Medical Supplies, Protective Gear, Mental Health/PTSD Recovery, and Rebuilding Assistance. From providing tactical medical training to thousands of civilians to delivering survival kits to "Grey Zone" communities, their commitment is to share light, love, hope, and connection.

Accomplishments and Impact
In just over two years, Ukrainian Patriot has achieved monumental impact. They have successfully delivered life-saving aid to more than 50 frontline locations, often navigating active conflict zones to reach those the world has forgotten.

Merchandise for a Cause
As a vendor at Mosaic, Ukrainian Patriot offers a curated selection of "UP Merch," with all proceeds directly funding their frontline missions. Merchandise sales are a vital fundraising initiative managed by their Saskatchewan-based team. Every purchase helps fuel a med-evac vehicle, provide a hygiene kit for a displaced family, or sending another child to resilience camp.
