Our Community
Our pavilion is shaped by the people who bring it to life—our Ukrainian Canadian community, ambassadors, organizing team, and dedicated volunteers. Together, they help share Ukrainian culture with thousands of guests during Mosaic: A Festival of Cultures.
Ukrainian Canadian Community
Ukrainians have been part of Saskatchewan for more than 130 years, contributing to the province’s cultural, agricultural, and civic life. Today, the Ukrainian Canadian community in Regina continues to preserve traditions, support newcomers, and celebrate heritage through language, arts, faith, and cultural events—many of which come together at the Kyiv Ukrainian Pavilion.
Ambassadors
Our ambassadors serve as the public representatives of the pavilion and the Ukrainian community at Mosaic, embodying cultural pride, leadership, and community service. Their presence helps showcase the richness of Ukrainian heritage while creating a warm and welcoming environment for all visitors.
Ambassadors greet guests, share cultural stories and knowledge, support displays and performances, and represent the pavilion at media and Mosaic-wide events. By assisting volunteer teams and engaging with thousands of attendees, they bring authenticity, energy, and connection to the festival, helping build meaningful relationships across Regina’s diverse community.
Mosaic Committee
The Kyiv Pavilion is planned and operated by the Mosaic Committee—volunteers responsible for coordination, logistics, programming, cultural exhibits, food services, sponsorships, and overall event operations.
Their year-round planning ensures the pavilion runs smoothly, reflects our cultural values, and provides a welcoming experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
Volunteers
Volunteers are the backbone of the Kyiv Ukrainian Pavilion. From greeting guests to preparing food, managing cultural areas, and keeping the venue running smoothly, our volunteers help create the warm, energetic atmosphere our pavilion is known for.
