Ridna Shkola Ukrainian Choir
The UNF Regina Ridna Shkola Ukrainian Saturday School choir is a vibrant and heartfelt expression of youth, culture, and community. Made up of students aged 3 to 13, the group reflects the energy and enthusiasm of over 50 young learners who are deeply connected to their Ukrainian heritage. Through song, these children bring language, tradition, and identity to life, sharing the richness of Ukrainian culture with audiences at Mosaic and beyond.
Ridna Shkola is dedicated to nurturing not only language skills, but a strong sense of cultural belonging. Through weekly classes in Ukrainian language, music, and traditions, students develop both confidence and pride in their roots . The choir is a natural extension of this learning—offering students an opportunity to express themselves artistically while preserving and celebrating generations-old traditions.
Under the artistic direction of Liliia Maniuk, the choir delivers performances that are both joyful and meaningful. Each song reflects the spirit of Ukraine—its history, resilience, and beauty—while showcasing the dedication and talent of these young performers. Their annual participation in Mosaic has become a cherished tradition, highlighting the important role youth play in keeping culture alive.

More than a performance group, the Ridna Shkola choir represents a community coming together through music. It is a celebration of heritage, a connection between generations, and a reminder of the importance of remembering and honoring one’s roots while sharing them with the wider world.
